Obituary for Malcolm Kevin Anderson

DURHAM: Malcolm Kevin Anderson, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his home in Durham. He was born in Roanoke, VA, the son of the late James Anderson and Gerda Matthews Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church and a partner with T.E.A.M. Lighting Company.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Rosetta Saul Anderson; sons, Matthew Thomas Anderson, Kevin James Anderson; sisters, Jacqueline Powers, Sheila A. Casey (Richard), Lisa Jeannine Creger; brother, John Anderson (Barbara); and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, August 23rd at Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Bowden and Rev. Kathie Wilkinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Wednesday, August 22nd at Clements Funeral Home in Durham. A graveside service will be held at a 12 p.m. on Friday, August 31st at Evergreen Burial Park in Roanoke, VA.
