Obituary for Rebecca W. Boothe

Durham: Rebecca W. Boothe, 79, died Tuesday March 27, 2018, at her home. She was born in Richlands, VA, the daughter of the late Jesse Fletcher White and Mary Elizabeth Hambrick White. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Alden Boothe; and sister, Jessie White Rusinko. She was a member of Pleasant Green United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Boothe is survived by her sister, Mary White Lawson; daughters, Tish Bracey and husband David, Cindy Doss and husband Mark, Jackie Beaver and husband Scott; son, Jim Boothe and wife Carol; grandchildren, Erin Craft, Colin Isley and husband Cameron, Patrick Bracey, Megan Whitley and husband Jon, Alex Doss and wife Jess, Alden Conner, Haley Boothe-Zajac and husband Matt and Jack Boothe; step-grandchildren, Cody Beaver, Danyel Beaver, Kirsten Hawley and Justin Hawley; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. on Friday March 30, 2018, at Pleasant Green United Methodist Church with Rev. Laura Thompson officiating.
