PFAFFTOWN: Sybil Morris Woodruff, 94, died Monday, January 16, 2017, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Durham, the daughter of the late Ector Edward Morris and the late Gladys Morris Barnette. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Milton Woodruff; son, Tommy Woodruff; and half-sister, Susan Morris.
Mrs. Woodruff retired from Liggett Myers Tobacco Company. She was a lifelong resident of Durham, just recently moving to Pfafftown, and a member of Grey Stone Church.
Mrs. Woodruff is survived by her daughters, Judy Jarrell and husband Phillip, Tanya Woodruff Willette, Tricia Montague and husband Roy; son, Grier Woodruff and wife Judy; daughter-in-law, Brenda Woodruff and half-brother, Bill Morris.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 21st at Maplewood Cemetery with Rev. Randall Floyd officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:30 p.m. at Clements Funeral Home in Durham.
