Obituary for Roger Aldridge

DURHAM: Roger Aldridge, 77, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at WakeMed Hospital in Cary. He was born in Albemarle, N.C. to the late Charles Aldridge and Maxine Kiker Aldridge.

Mr. Aldridge was a U.S. Navy veteran where he served for 22 years as a logistics specialist.

Mr. Aldridge is survived by his wife, Sandra Dale Aldridge; daughters, Jeni Lyn Carrico, Amanda Aldridge and husband Steve Kenny; and grandchildren, Matt Carrico, Sam Carrico, Caroline Bruce and husband JC.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28th at Hope Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Bigger officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29th at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Wags 4 Tags, 5917 Grandale Drive Durham, NC 27713 or Hope Valley Baptist Church, 6900 Garrett Rd, Durham, NC 27707.
