Obituary for Louvenia Mae Wilson Jacobs

REIDSVILLE: Louvenia Mae Wilson Jacobs passed away on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at her home. She was born in Orange Co. to the late Victor Samuel and Louise Broughton Wilson. She was predeceased by her husband, John Carroll Jacobs.

Mrs. Jacobs was a retired employee of American Tobacco Co. and a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her daughter, Henrietta McGee of Durham; son, James C. Jacobs (Carol) of Timberlake; sister, Ivaleen Riley (James); brothers, Vernon Wilson (Marie) and Jimmy Wilson (Vada); grandchildren, Nichole L. Clark, Tia Utley (Steve), Dustin J.T. Jacobs (Mary), Jamie Sechrist (Robin), Brandon A. Carthen (Brittany); and great grandchildren, Brianna and Jay Tilley, Cassie and Hannah Wilkins and Everette and Emmette Utley..

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 13 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Whitt officiating. The family will receive one hour prior to the service at the mausoleum chapel.
