Obituary for Carolyn McDermon Murray

Durham: Carolyn McDermon Murray, 73, died Saturday, January 20, 2018, at her home. She was born in Durham, the daughter of the late Andrew John McDermon and Durema Hilliard McDermon. She was a retired Registered Nurse.

Mrs. Murray is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert James Murray; son, Anthony Neems and wife Vanessa; daughters, Jennifer Johnson and husband Craig, Sherri Elliott and husband Todd; grandchildren, Clinton Neems and wife Lindsay, Bobby Cash and wife Ashley, Lauren Lambert and husband Cade, Cameron Elliott, Kate Neems, Jessica Elliott; great-grandchildren, Brett Cash, Anthony Neems, Charlotte Neems; and brother, Johnny McDermon and wife Linda.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 25 at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Gathering Room at Clements.
